Venerated Western Slope leader, Rikki Santarelli, has graciously given me his endorsement in the House District 61 race.

In the run-up to my announcement of candidacy, Mr. Santarelli was encouraging, but he was careful to make sure that I made my own decision. “I think you would be a great legislator and would represent the Western Slope very well,” Mr. Santarelli said to me, “but only you can make that decision.”

Mr. Santarelli also indicated that he is happy to give his blessing and endorsement to my efforts in the HD61 race. Mr. Santarelli is currently Chairman of Club 20 and has been an active business and civic leader on the Western Slope for many years. I am deeply moved and honored to have the support of a man of Mr. Santarelli’s character.
